    Riverwoods Exeter is currently seeking Part-Time and Full-Time Dining Servers! No Experience Needed! Will train the right person who has the desire to be challenged and the eagerness to learn new skills to join our dynamic RiverWoods dining team

     

     

    Full Time Servers!

    Must be able to work the shift hours of (Mon-Friday 11am-8pm).

     

    Part-Time Servers!

    Must be able to work the shift hours of   (10am-2pm), (11am-3pm)

    or (4:30pm-8pm)

    Responsibilities

    To serve meals to residents and their guests in the dining room and dining room areas, as needed, to help serve and clean in the kitchen.

    Dining Room Servers work in the main dining room.  Our Servers have a unique opportunity to build connections and impact resident's days every shift they work.  In our dining rooms, you become part of their extended family, and you learn more from our residents than you could ever imagine.     

     

    DESCRIPTION OF DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

     

    Under the general direction of Assistant Dining Service Director and direct supervision of Dining Room Manager, within established company and departmental policies and procedures, the Waiter/Waitress performs the following functions:

     

    ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

    1.  Presets and resets tables in assigned area.
    2.  Familiarizes self daily with menu with special regard to Chef Specials and Soup of the Day.
    3.  Takes residents food order, services food and busses table when resident has completes meal.  Listens for residents' likes and dislikes when serving food and notifies Dining Room Manager of any problems.
    4.  Completes guest checks for residents.
    5.  Keeps area neat and orderly at all times, following sanitation cleaning schedules on open/closing list.  Keep coffeepots filled during peak times.
    6.  Performs assigned opening and closing side work.
    7.  Works with new wait staff for proper training and knowledge of the Dining Service Department. 

    NON-ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

    1.  Helps to serve and clean in the kitchen and dining areas.
    2. Performs similar or related duties as required or directed.
