    As the Maintenance/Security Technician at our Ridge Campus, you will be an important part of our Environmental Services Team.  The schedule for this position is Monday-Friday 4:00-12:00 pm. The compensation range is $13-$15 per hour.

    The Maintenance/Security Technician will be responsible for providing maintenance/security for the residents, employees and visitors while overseeing the protection of the facility building and grounds.

     

    Some key components of the position include but are not limited to:

     

    • Inspect facility buildings and premises to prevent fires, theft, vandalism, and intruders; confront unauthorized persons for questioning as needed; report safety and/or fire hazards or security activities
    • Inspect and or service designated equipment such as pumps, motors, air handlers, fire sprinkler system, fire alarm panels
    • Maintain reports and other documents pertinent to maintenance and security activities
    • Maintain and adhere to established facility policies and procedures relative to quality assurance, safety, environmental and infection control issues
    • Assist with room set-up and break-down 
    • Replace light bulbs, vacuum, carpet care, empty trash bins, and remove trash from the recycle rooms
    • Perform minor interior and exterior repairs on both a scheduled and on an as-needed basis
    • Assist with vacant apartment preparation and resident move-in, including moving of furniture
    • Provide portage for resident possessions and baggage
    • Assist with snow removal of all regular and emergency exits, walkways and other areas
    • Assist with resident transportation as necessary
