    Accounts Receivable Coordinator

     

     

    RiverWoods is seeking a full time, Accounts Receivable Coordinator who will be responsible for timely and accurate billing and collection of Accounts Receivables and serving as the resident interface for financial billing issues. Under the general direction of the Director of Finance, the Accounts Receivable Coordinator performs administrative functions including but not limited to:

     

    • Perform all resident billing functions including maintaining billing codes in system, input of ancillary charges, and producing resident bills monthly
    • Meet with residents on an as needed basis to answer questions related to billing and other accounting policies
    • Ensure timely collection of resident accounts receivable
    • Monitor the census for both independent and health center residents. Work with the responsible parties on an as-needed basis to ensure that residents are coded correctly and census is run every night
    • Maintain acceptable record-keeping systems for resident files, deposits, and canceled checks
    • Prepare financial closing letters for new residents and meet with new residents upon move-in
    • Provide general ledger support and reconciliation as needed to Finance Department
    • Assist in the preparation of schedules for the yearly audit by a public accounting firm

    • Support Director of Finance in other duties as needed

    Qualifications

    Prefer two year associates degree in accounting or business administration (or equivalent work experience)

     

    Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in accounts receivable and knowledge of basic accounting is essential, experience in Medicare billing and/or other health care billing is a plus; standard Microsoft Office with strong Excel skills.
