RiverWoods (CCRC a Continuing Care Retirement Community) is seeking a Full Time Life Engagement Manager for our Woods Campus with the desire to be challenged, lead the Life Engagement department and join a dynamic healthcare team.  We are looking for an activities professional that will create a community alive with extraordinary bonds and relationships with our residents providing the opportunity for the best life and peace of mind for all.  We achieve this through our culture and core values: Respect for the Individual, Not for Self, Authenticity, Mutuality and Sustainability.


Job responsibilities include but are not limited to:


  • Provide customer service with a positive attitude and commitment to teamwork supporting all aspects of the RiverWoods community.
  • Assume authority, responsibility and accountability of directing the Life Engagement Department at the Woods Campus including budgeting/invoicing and personnel management.
  • Ensuring resident socialization and therapeutic needs are met as well as communicating the benefits of these activities to residents, family and staff.
  • Assist Life Engagement Facilitators with the initiation, development, organization and responsibility of community trips/programs in accordance with resident interests.
  • Engaging, recruiting and maintaining a Resident Volunteer Program.
  • Collaboration with Life Engagement  managers across the three campuses to provide residents with an enriched and varied Life Engagement Program.
  • Assist healthcare residents to create and maintain bonds with their independent living neighbors through collaborative events and volunteer programs.

Associates Level Degree or equivalent experience.

Eligible for certification through the National Certification Council of Activity Professionals, or be a Certified Recreations Specialist (CTRS) or an Activities Professional who is certified by the state of New Hampshire.

3 years experience working with seniors in social or recreation programming.
